Creativity Art Studio

I just got home from working at Creativity Art Studio in Orem. I've been filling in shifts there for a couple of years whenever they're short on people. It's a really fun place that offers paint-your-own ceramics along with various art classes.

I have always dreamed of owning a turntable since the day I found out about their existence. I was reminded of this dream when I watched an episode of Suits and one of the guys on the show had a humongous record collection. So I've been saving up. And after tonight, I am about $25 dollars closer to getting one! Also, my check for lawn mowing is going to arrive soon. I am so excited to play my very own vinyls!

Rock Climbing

Today, I went climbing at my local climbing gym with a buddy of mine. Our original plan was to go climb up Rock Canyon, but the weather was too cold and windy to allow us to enjoy climbing. So we decided to go indoors. Let me tell you, indoors has nothing on outdoors. There's something about the sun on your back and the authenticity of the rock that can't be recreated with plastic.

Tomorrow the weather is supposed to be better. An old friend of mine from Springville might be able to join me to climb outside. We'll have to play it by ear!

My name is Kyle Anderson, and this is my blog. Here I will share my interests with the world! I love rock climbing, photography, and calligraphy. I'm a high school student attending Mountain View High School in Orem, Utah. I'm excited to share my thoughts with you!

One of my favorite places on Earth, Lake Powell!

I love to take pictures, so be ready for a lot of photography! In fact, today I am going rock climbing with a friend of mine, which means tomorrow's is a climbing post (I do a lot of those). 

I hope that you will enjoy my view of the world. I love to share photos of all that I find to be beautiful in nature.

There's nothing quite like a perfectly smooth lake!

I love to read and write as well. One of my favorite things to do to pass the time is calligraphy. Writing poems and song lyrics with a good ol' dip pen is very relaxing and beautiful.

I might like orange. Definitely not the green carpet, though. 

And, as I've already mentioned, I love rock climbing. I spend way too much time thinking about, dreaming about, and actually doing it. There are few things as exciting and rewarding as reaching the top of a really hard wall. You will be able to see videos and pictures of those expeditions as well!
